THE INSTITUTE OF AGRARIAN ECONOMICS (IAI) IS A STRUCTURAL UNIT IN THE AGRICULTURAL ACADEMY, PERFORMING:
- research and applied research in the field of agricultural economics;
- publishing activity in the agricultural sphere.
IAI is a national institute for agro-economic research and development, publishing in the field of agriculture. Its mission is to support the agricultural policy of the state through research, consulting, research and information activities in the field of agricultural economics and organization, rural development, sociology, ecology, agricultural management and food chains.
BASIC ACTIVITIES
The institute:
- Performs scientific and applied research on current issues in the field of agricultural economics, food chain management and rural development;
- Develops strategies and national programs related to the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and other EU policies;
- Participates in the development of national and international projects;
- Participates in the preparation of normative documents;
- Analyzes the implementation of strategies, programs and measures for the development of agriculture, food industry and rural areas and prepares recommendations and proposals for
their updating; - Assists in the formation and implementation of the agricultural policy of the state and actively supports the practice;
- Teaches doctoral students in accredited programs;
- Train specialists and farmers;
- Performs consulting and expert services;
- Organizes scientific and scientific-practical forums – conferences, round tables, seminars, exhibitions, etc .;
- Performs library and information services in the agricultural field;
- He publishes specialized scientific journals.
